I Have Been Redeemed

Just when I was feeling my lowest
   Everything going exactly the wrong way
   Salvation’s a confusing, long, winding road,
   Unless to get to my knees and pray.

Suddenly something sprang up inside me-
   (Salvation comes in mysterious ways)
   All of my prayers could still yet be answered-
   Venality could still be driven away.

Examine the knowledge found in the Bible;
   Study Epistles; both chapter and verse.
   Angels swirling around to collect me-
   Taking me home in His Heavenly Hearse.

Knowing assuredly that Jesus loves me;
   My Savior, my truth, my hope, and my life.
   Accepting the gift of His sweet salvation
   Redemption will guide me through this, my dark night.
